How to Use The New LMS Chatbot
The new LMS Chatbot allows you to ask questions directly within the LMS. This article will show the location of the chatbot and the various things it responds to.
Login to your administrator account and in the bottom right, click on the newly generated chatbot widget (1).
The chatbot will prompt you to enter a name (1), email (2), and the message you would like to send the bot (3). Once filled out, click Enter to begin your chat.
The chatbot provides suggested responses based on your recent inquiries. Instead of typing out a reply, you can choose one of the suggested responses to help move the conversation forward. Select "Administrator" (1) to ask questions and receive responses based on administrative topics.
The chatbot will also give links to articles that may help with other questions you may have (1).
You can also attach files in the chat (2). If you believe your question has been adequately answered, you can conclude the conversation by clicking the "End Chat" button located in the bottom right corner (3).
By clicking on the three dots next to the "End Chat" button (1), you can mute the chatbot notification sounds (2) or send a transcript of your conversation via email to yourself or another recipient (3).
At the end of your conversation, you will be greeted and prompted for feedback. You can choose to email the transcript of your discussion (1), or if you wish to resume the conversation, simply click the "click here" link (2).
