How to switch to the new UI and Disable for User
The updated user interface (UI) introduces modifications to the Courses list, Users list, Courses to Users list, and Users to Courses list. Additional UI enhancements are anticipated in future updates. Transitioning to the new UI will provide expanded export options in the Courses list, the capability to customize columns in a list view, and a sidebar tailored for administrator, instructor, and learner users.
To make the switch to the new UI, follow these steps:
Log in as an Administrator.
Navigate to "System Settings" (1).
Select “Try new UI” (2). You can see what is included in the new UI here (3). Click “Enable” (4).
Now that the new UI option is active, expand the top-right drop-down menu (5) and select “Try new UI” (6).
Disable the new UI
Sign in as an Administrator.
Click on “Disable new UI” (1) in the sidebar to disable the new UI for your user.
If you want to disable the new UI system-wide, go to “System Settings” (2).
Select “Try new UI” (3) and then choose “Disable” (4).
